Exploring Feminity

Samara Lee is a Brisbane-based multimedia artist, whose work explores themes from health to humanity. She has a particular passion for creating works about her experience of endometriosis and surrounding her previous career as a Midwife. She often explores her experience of queerness and disability, in relation to the body. Many of her artworks utilise bloody themes to force interaction between the viewer and the aspects of womanhood we are often keen to ignore.
